St Bridget Catholic School

Dear Families of St. Bridget Catholic School,

Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year!  We are very happy to welcome you to our website - the primary means of communication for our Catholic school community. As an eco-friendly school we strive to reduce, reuse and recycle any way we can - utilizing our school website and visiting each teacher's personalized websites are easy ways for you to support our eco-friendly approach to living and learning here at St. Bridget!

In its 11th year of operation, St. Bridget is located on the west side of the historically rich community of Brooklin and more importantly, in the parish of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. The strength we value in the relationship between home, school and parish is foundational to the spirit of our school as well as our approach to teaching and learning. As educators in a Catholic school, all staff members endeavor to work collaboratively to guide students along their journey of learning through friendship and faith. It is our commitment to provide a safe, happy and inclusive environment where students can achieve success through an education rooted in the gospel values of our faith.

We encourage all members of our school community to review Discovery 2020: Strategic Plan 2014-2019 available on the DCDSB website.  Details regarding the board's principles of Excellence, Equity and New Evangelization are presented in this document. These principles will guide our work in the years to come.

We are all privileged to be members of this school community.  We look forward to working together in service for our students.  Keeping our parents/guardians informed and the lines of communication open in as many ways possible is important to all of us.  We will be adding a Twitter account in the coming weeks to help enhance our ability to communicate in a timely fashion.

Thank you for visiting our website and be sure to do so on a regular basis!
